Those that know the Fairest Cape well will know that this time of year the fields start turning green, the south-easterly wind that torments us at summer has disappeared, and the days become clear as crystal. Sure, there will be the odd day with rain but most of the time we experience lovely weather and there is much to do this time of year!
When the weather is clear and the skies are blue you can pay a visit to Kirstenbosch, one of the finest botanical gardens in the world.
You can also take a drive out into the countryside and have a look at what there is to see, you never know what you might find, you might even meet a friendly horse!
Of course, when you are in our company then a drive in the countryside might very well include some wine or bubbly tasting 🙂
If driving around the countryside and tasting wine is not your thing, well… then you can go visit a museum …
… or admire some beautiful architecture …
… or just stop and smell the roses !
At the end of a beautiful day you might even come across a spectacular sunset !
For those times when it is rainy weather there is still much that one can do, you can always cuddle up to a warm fire and enjoy a nice glass of red wine with friends.
If you love the arts, well then look around …..
… you might just get to see a delightful musical!
However, if you feel you have exhausted all possibilities and options, then there is still something that you can do – have a peaceful Sunday afternoon nap !
No matter what you choose to do, or not do, The Fairest Cape is a great place to be during the month of May !Viewed :1983
