What better way is there to end a year and start a new one than with a wedding? And if the wedding is in beautiful Stellenbosch, the heart of the Cape winelands, then it promises to be some really special!
This became clear to us immediately when we started discussing shooting the wedding with Simon and Jeanneke. They were very clear about what they were looking for in their wedding photographs – the focus was squarely on capturing the couple in an elegant way first and foremost. The rest of the images were to be of a more general wedding nature, but the couple shots were the top priority photography-wise.
We got the message – loud and clear 🙂
So without further ado, here are only a small number of some really great shots we got of the wedding, with the emphasis on the couple. You will notice that quite a number are in black and white because we found that this particular couple made such stunning images, that colour sometimes appeared to get in the way!

Even though we faced long hours in summer heat, we really enjoyed shooting this wedding and thank Simon and Jeanneke for allowing us to capture their special day !
Please feel free to post any comments below – we, and the wedding couple would like to hear your thoughts !
